ITC Outdoor First Aid Emergency Action (8 Hour) (RQF)

Course Delivered Nation Wide

This is a one day training course covering basic life support in the outdoor context. This is 8 hours of contextualised training and can be adapted to meet the needs of the environment you are operating in.


  • Safe best practice, related to outdoor environment

  • A systematic approach to incident management

  • Unconsciousness, causes and treatment

  • Managing contextualised scenarios

  • External bleeding, internal bleeding and shock

  • Resuscitation procedures including choking

  • Awareness of current regulations

Course Delivery and Duration

Assessment is ongoing throughout the course. There will be lots of practical based scenarios for you to practise and apply your skills in an outdoor setting.
1 day (8 hours) 9.00am – 6pm
