Project Description

ITC Outdoor First Aid Course (16 Hours) (RQF)

Course Delivered in Yorkshire and Lake District

Outdoor First Aid Courses are specifically designed for those working or spending recreational time in the outdoor environment. They are perfect for outdoor instructors, leaders, sports enthusiasts and those who are working in more remote locations.

We deliver ITC FIRST Outdoor courses which are nationally recognised throughout the UK and are externally regulated through the Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA). Our first aid courses meet the regulatory requirements for many National Governing Body Awards in the outdoors, such as; BCU, ML, MBL, RYA, SPA, BMG, BASI, and many more (check with your awarding body).

All our courses are valid for 3 years and all our trainers have extensive qualifications and experience based in the outdoors.

The ITC course provides a safe and systematic approach to first aid and covers the practical skills needed by those who spend time in a more remote environment.

This 2 day course is divided into two units:

Unit 1 Emergency First Aid in the Workplace: This unit can lead to a qualification suitable for Emergency First Aid at Work (SCQF) purposes and this additional certificate will be provided by request at the end of the course delivery.
