ITC Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF)

Course Delivered with in Yorkshire and the Lake District

The Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work course is qualification accredited by Ofqual & ITC First Aid.

Unit 1: EFAW – Emergency First Aid in the Workplace (A/504/4517)

  • Roles and Responsibilites of the first aider

  • Minimising risk in an emergency situation

  • Accident Procedure

  • Safe Airway Positions

  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

  • Dealing with Choking

  • Treatment for bleeding

  • Treatment for Shock

  • Appropriate First Aid Kit Use

  • Completing Accident Forms

Course Duration & Assessment

The qualification consists of one unit. The training and assessment typically consists of a one day (6+ hour) course leading to the Emergency.

First Aid at Work certificate

The skills and knowledge for this qualification are assessed continuously by tutor observation of ‘real-life’ skills which have been benchmarked to National Occupational Standards.

This certificate has a valid ‘license to practice’ lifetime of three years. Certificate renewal is by completion of another Emergency First Aid at Work training course.
